“Our real self, the soul, is immortal. We may sleep for a little while in that change called death, but we can never be destroyed. We exist, and that existence is eternal. The wave comes to the shore, and then goes back to the sea; it is not lost. It becomes one with the ocean, or returns again in the form of another wave. This body has come, and it will vanish; but the soul essence within it will never cease to exist. Nothing can terminate that eternal consciousness” Yogananda

To the Family of Mr. Helmut Seeman,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Helmut Seeman. Several members of the Canada-China Friendship Society of Ottawa learned today of the sad news of his passing therough The Ottawa Citizen. I am a past president of CCFS-Ottawa of which Mr. Seeman had been a valued member for many years. It was always a pleasure to have Mr. Seeman at our activities. Over the years I recall him talking about his musical career but most of us did not know about the many other interesting aspects of his life as described in the obituary. We will always remember Mr. Seeman as a kind, interesting, and a most gentlemanly member of our Society.
Sincerely,
Lolan Wang Merklinger
