We Remember

TILDEN, Wendy Louise
May 9, 1945 — December 11, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Louise Tilden at the age of 78, on the evening of December 11, 2023.
Her loss was sudden, and the family is saddened and shocked by her passing.
Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Nick; her children, Rick, Tracie (Dale); grandchildren, Ashley (Dan), Jennifer, Russell, Aidan, and Eric; and her brothers Glen Tilden and Robert Tilden; and numerous other family members and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, William and Patricia Tilden. Also by her brothers, Lorne Tilden and Don Tilden.
Wendy was born in Calgary on May 9, 1945. Anyone who knew Wendy, knew that she was incredibly kind-hearted. She had an immense passion for life, and was always a source of positivity. In her formative years she had a passion for tennis and skiing, she also enjoyed travelling with family and friends. She was an amazing salesperson and entrepreneur, running her own business for over a decade. Wendy was an inspiration for many people and would help anyone in need. She always loved to dive into a good book or appreciate a fine glass of wine. But above all, she valued quality time with her loved ones. Her last 10 years were happily spent in the Okanagan with her Partner Nick, where she loved playing pickleball and golf.
There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lowe Syndrome Association.
