TONER, Ethan Alfred

Ethan suddenly passed away, with family by his side, on February 25, 2020 at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered by Heather, his wife of 54 years; his daughter Melanie Howton (Kevin Gerlach); his sons Michael (Miranda) and Marshall; his grandchildren Kaylie (Cameron), Justin, Jordan, Spencer, Joshua, and Tegan; his five great-grandchildren. Ethan’s memory will also be cherished by his siblings Gloria and Emmanuel (Lisa) as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Clifford.
One of the founding members of the Okanagan Chefs Association, Ethan had a rich and interesting career as Executive Chef throughout British Columbia, spending many years with the Sandman Inn. He will be dearly missed.
A private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Covenant House Vancouver, www.covenanthousebc.org or to the Children’s Miracle Network, childrensmiraclenetwork.ca.

I’m sorry to hear about Ethan. I have enjoyed communicating with him once again on Facebook. He will be greatly missed.
