We Remember
WOLF, Maria
—
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mom and Oma, Maria Wolf, on November 6, 2021. She passed peacefully with the love of her family supporting her journey.
Maria lived a long, happy life of deep devotion and love for her family. She is profoundly missed by her children Tony (Peggy) and Mary (Len); grandchildren Christey (Michael), Candice (JS), Alexandra (Gerald) and Zoe; and her three wonderful great–grandsons. Also, missing Mom are her many friends and extended family near and far.
She was strong, hardworking, creative, pragmatic, productive and fun. Her abundant gardens were always very beautiful, and she created marvellous meals for family and friends, all while working side by side with her dear husband. Her long marriage to Tony was a beautiful example of love, partnership and dedication. They shared laughter, joy and adventures and their spirits are now reunited.
Mom was quick to offer whatever she had in her kitchen to everyone that dropped over for a visit. She was generous and welcoming to family and friends old and new. After her beloved Tony passed, she graciously accepted her new reality and surrendered to the kind care given to her when she needed it. Always positive, she remained a pillar of strength right to the end.
Mom, Oma, Maria, taught us many things throughout her life including resilience, adaptability, faith and gratitude. She will always hold a very special place in each of our hearts. We’ll think of her especially when we see beautiful flowers, enjoy a lovely meal and spend time in nature.
If you knew our Mom and Oma and wish to honour her memory, please consider an act of kindness for someone in need. Many thanks to everyone involved with Mom’s care along her journey. She appreciated each one of you very much.
A private family graveside service will be held to honour Maria’s memory.

Such a kind and gentle lady I had the pleasure of knowing at hawthorn Park. I will miss her dearly
Maria was such a sweet and loving individual who was always very thoughtful and courteous and her green thumb shone though with all her plants she lovingly cared for in her room in orchard manor. She was a true pleasure to know.
