WRIGHT, Darlene Lynn
September 20, 1947 — April 22, 2023
Darlene passed away peacefully at the age of 75 in Port Moody.
Darlene was predeceased by her husband Chuck; brother Alvin; and sister Donna. She is survived by her daughters Lee-Ann (Steve) Smith and Laura Pitts (Joe Prevost); stepsons Paul (Shirley) Wright and Bruce Wright; and her grandchildren Emilly, Alexander, Robert, Jamie, Christopher, Jamie, and Melissa; great-grandchildren Liam, Jacob, Olive, and Deklan; her sister Dayle and sister-in-law Gerta; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Darlene loved to birdwatch, especially Hummingbirds, Eagles, and Snow Geese. She enjoyed the casino and road trips with her dear friends Frank and Faye; and she also loved to cruise to Alaska with her cousin Jean. She was an avid fisherwoman and canned and smoked her catches. She loved long lunches and visiting with friends and family. She cherished every moment she had with her grandchildren. She was famous for her baking & cooking, but was most famous for her “Darlene Buns”.
Darlene will be missed Dearly ❤️.

Aunty will be so dearly missed.Thinking of you all and sending the biggest hugs ever. She held a very special place in my heart and left us with so many awesome memories and an awesome perogie recipe that will live on for many many generations to come! I’m so very proud that you left me your beautiful huge table that we shared so many huge family gathering around I promised you I would Carry on the tradition and it is very loved and used! Aunty catch a big whopper up there with dad!
